IAI ACON-C-30I-NP-2-0 is a single-axis actuator controller for a matching IAI AC servo actuator using the 30I configuration. The controller stores position data and manages actuator movement according to commands received from a PLC or machine-control system.
The NP specification identifies an NPN sink-type parallel I/O configuration. This exact model is primarily used for maintenance of existing industrial machinery where the actuator rating, I/O circuit, connector arrangement and controller parameters must be preserved.

Other Models in the IAI Family
Another IAI legacy controller for family reference is ECON-I-100-2. ECON belongs to a different controller generation and uses a different actuator, power and control configuration. It is included only for broader legacy-controller coverage and must not be presented as a direct replacement for ACON-C-30I-NP-2-0.
Confirm the complete controller code, actuator type, rated capacity, input power, I/O interface, encoder configuration, connectors, firmware and parameter format before considering any controller-family conversion.
Compatible Systems and Applications
ACON-C-30I-NP-2-0 is suitable for existing automated assembly stations, transfer mechanisms, loading systems, packaging machinery, inspection fixtures and production equipment using a compatible IAI actuator.
The controller can receive position-number selection, start, reset and other commands from the PLC while returning position-complete, operating and alarm signals. Available functions depend on the original controller parameters and machine wiring.
Maintenance and Replacement Notes
Back up the original position data and controller parameters before removal whenever possible. Record the actuator direction, home position, travel limits, speed settings, acceleration values and PLC input and output assignments.
The 30I configuration must not be replaced with a 20I, 10I or another actuator rating solely because the controller housing appears identical. Verify the actuator nameplate and the complete controller suffix before energizing the replacement unit.
ACON-C is a discontinued family. Although IAI identifies ACON-CB as a successor platform, compatibility must be reviewed because dimensions, connectors, controller functions and parameter handling may differ.
